Tim Tebow was born on August 14, 1987 in Makati City in the Philippines, to Bob and Pam Tebow, who were serving as Christian missionaries.

While pregnant, Pam suffered a life-threatening amoebic infection that caused her to slip into a coma.  Because the drugs used to rouse her from her coma, and mitigate dysentery caused a placental abruption, doctors expected a stillbirth and recommended an abortion to protect her life.

Armed with faith in Christ, Pam and Bob prayed through the rest of the pregnancy term. Tim Tebow was born healthy on August 14, 1987 and to this day serves God in everything!
